Yahoo is going to have a hell of a time even breaking even on its deal with Netscape to manage the Netscape Destination pages. (I believe they guaranteed Netscape $25m over 2 years) They are not seeing the traffic they expected and they keep dropping the rates they charge to advertise and place links on those Destination pages. Netscape overpromised, and Yahoo may be left to clean up the mess.
