Oil may not have shot up, The senile old Fool might have not delayed lowering rates, the whole technology focused business climate may not have went backwards 20 years to the era of Shrub 1. On one hand you have rich stoic dangerous wildcard oilman idiot number 1, on the other side you have rich pompous harmless happy go lucky idiot number 2. #1 was dangerous to everyone under 40, #2's biggest move would have been to do no harm to anyone. The dangerous one got voted in. So we have danger. And the fear danger has concocted during his campaign and wholly unsuccessful first 9 months.
