In the last ten years, August has been the poorest .....

performing month of the year. Since 1926, records indicate Sept. is the worst month for the stock market, but not over the last decade. This August has been a killer for many sectors, hi-tech for sure. Recent publicized studies show that thru July 2000, mutual funds dollar flow into equities was $231b. Thru July 2001, only $48b. Obviously, a lot of cash is on the sidelines.

Evwap volume totals grew in an amazing way during this same month of August, 2001.
