C.B: Wireless innovation is a disruptive technology but has very little scope for a monopoly. The current technology is well established in terms of FFT transforms, Filters, Noise attentuation etc. There is a bit of a power struggle between GSM, ,CDMA . Todate there have been no breakthrus regarding the speed barrier necessary for the conquest of outer space.

The big disruptive technologies ahead will most likley be in the field of Molecular biology, Stem cell , gene based Therapy and Nanometrics. At current priciing, there is a glut of adequate cheap communication and little increase in demand. This suggest to me that productivity gains are not constrained because of Communication.

As an Investor you need to locate a Company that has a lock on the disruption.!
