John unfortunately, I agree :-(( If amd wanted to do something of the sort they should have supported 3rd party independent standard OTOH should intel refer to the frequency as speed? That makes makes the speed of pentium III - 1Ghz equalk to athlon-1GHz and pentium 4 -1GHz Regards -Albert
