Hi Joe,

I did that last October with Cohu.

I only do it on a stock I wish I could own.In fact my usual emotion is I hope I get the stock instead of the money.

Last October I got 5000 shares of Cohu put to me by 5 pennies. I had sold Nov 15's for 1.30. It closed at 15.05. It gave me a net cost of 13.75.

At the thu8rsday before I really was hoping for the puts to be excercised to me.

I like the approach because it puts the decay of the time premium on your side and you pick up a lower cost basis 0- by the decay of the premium.

But don't ever do it on a stock you don't want to buy.Nimble traders would say just roll over the next month - but I'm not that nimble.

Any how I like to split up my total buy plan with 25-50 selling puts - they so far have tended to be some of the better buys achieved.

Bob
