I don't think the notion that there was a market bubble in technology investing necessarily I agree, and I was not clear in my post. I think a valid expansion of the economy in the last decade became a bubble because a change in emphasis undermined the foundation of the new paradigm. The new economy was premised on high-value high tech work being done "here" while routine manufacturing was done "there" in a world economy. There has been a change in attitude toward having any work from "here" moved to "there" and little international cooperation on anything else. The premise of the new economy was retracted. That is what made a valid paradigm into a bubble. That is why all the gains of the decade were wiped out, not just a reasonable percentage. I have a sneaking suspicion that I am still not being clear. TP
