It this gall, stupidity, or a subtle brilliant move?
In today's SJMN, the first page of the business section says:
"Sun Predicts Another Loss Layoffs Now More Likely, Analysts Say"
Then, on page 5 of that same section, is a FULL page ad for, yes, that very same Sun, saying:
"Two words you haven't heard lately in Silicon Valley: Help Wanted"
Goes on to say they have 500 openings.
So, either they are indecently brave, incredibly dim, or unimaginably brilliant. Opinions?
ps their tag line is "take it to the nth". I'm assuming that n is bound to the range of reals, not integers? What is the value of n in "SUNW Peak 2000 ** n = SUNW today"? |
