Mq,
I have a feeling I know where you are going with the rant, but keep in mind that unlike G*, GX is in no way, shape, or form a company that sells to joe6pack, the third world undercapitalized, or the casual customer. They have targeted the top Multi-national companies who need data traffic of an extreme sort, and will utilize the benefits of having a seamless, integrated, worldwide data network... not so they can send the latest kids pictures to Aunt Cecillia in podunk (although some of the GX customers might provide that service to their customers...). They are looking to sell to Governments, Telecom corporations, financial institutions... So if you detected a bit of the G* "let them eat cake", or the ERICY "we will deny them that request", it's not that. It's more a focus on the core group that they are targeting.
