I think that's the alternative interpretation of 'communist', meaning 'someone who is not on the right wing of the Republican party'.

Turner is indeed very admirable... I particularly like the way that when he gave his UN donation - which as I recall was while the market was still riding high - he challenged the other billionaires in the US to do likewise.
I don't think many have - certainly in proportion. Although presumably Gates will get there one day...
