Yeah right, BS artist. Turner has preserved huge tracts of western land, has not cattle grazed which causes depletion and erosion, has re-introduced native bison and is about as environmentally sensitive a billionaire as you'll find in this country. And Jane Fonda's radical politics disappeared back in the 70's. Besides she's no longer active in public circles so who cares? A lot of good people were against that sick Vietnam War, including Republicans. It was a corrupt dishonest war with no objective. It wasted hundreds of thousands of lives and tens of billions of dollars. It made us villains in the eyes of the world. Left radicals may have gone too far in the 60's but you can't blame people for protesting that war. And you cannot defend police state policies in this country used to put down demonstrations like the murders of college kids at Kent State. Even some of our greatest war heros like John Kerry turned against the war after coming home. That is because it was just dead wrong. It was also stupid. Like Colonel Kurtz advised "give me 5 regiments of men like those and this war would be over in a month". But we didn't go in with any objective, noble or otherwise. The regime we were supporting was more corrupt than the communists. I will never blame anyone for protesting that war. Hopefully never again. This country has learned. And if you're still angry at the left from the 60's you'd better grow out of it. They were right on the issue even when some of their methods were wrong.
