Supposing herb is wrong about this. What do you suppose that will do for AMD's credibility when all their upper management seem to be lying and slamming the competition?

Also, 20-30% improvement is pitiful for .18u to .13u. Intel already demonstrated a 75% improvement on their .13u process with the Pentium 4 3.5GHz demonstration at IDF (yes it was supercooled, but many of their demonstrations have shown limited functionality, and still managed to make it to market within 9-12 months). It looks like many people were right when they said that AMD is already using .13u transistor features in their .18u process. I wonder if they will manufacture a 2.0GHz Athlon running 95% on .13u, and still call it .18u to look like they're keeping their word.
