Dave, heatsinker2: <It's interesting that this board has almost completely ignored Wednesday's conference call. I thought the news on cpu shipments was actually pretty good. Once flash comes back, probably around Q2 02, AMD should be in very good shape profit wise. Intel won't get this bounce, they're stuck in the low-margin CPU business.> If flash DOES come back, and Pallys out in Q3, Q4 estimates are easily attainable. Dave: I think AMD might be a VERY GOOD trading stock for remainder of the year, if those CC recaps are correct - and if AMD can truly stick to those numbers (and IF flash really does recover). JJ: I thought flash wasn't going to recover until 2H02. If so, doesn't help the remainder of this year at all.
