Am really glad the folks on this thread can debate like this without it getting personal. Actually think both strategies can be successfull and both sides can profit at the same time. Shorters are looking to sell overpriced companies while longs are looking to buy underpriced companies. This at least partially explains the divergent viewpoints. I honestly feel both are quite valid and defendable, as are the arguments for a rally vs a continued selloff. But I'm going to be proven right so Nyaah!
