Some more Intel IDF stuff.

Mention was made of Intel's new i870 server chipset. This is Intel's first chipset to support InfiniBand. Therefore the chipset has an onboard Host Channel Adapter or HCA. I'm not sure if the HCA has an embedded OS or not. I will try to find out.

Article on 3GIO. The article is a little vague on specifics so it's difficult to assess if there is anything in it for WIND (i.e. embedded OSs). It does mention peer to peer communications between nodes and the prioritization of certain data types (QoS). This might involve some intelligence.
