Nobody questions that there are used machines available at a discount. Sun has recognized that; as I recall they said they're doing a pretty good business signing those machines up for support. But let's keep some perspective. Sun's recent revenues have been a bit over a $B a month. While I'm sure they satisfy some of the demand for Sun servers, a few hundred used machines just aren't that big a deal. In the conference call, I believe Lehman said they're not seeing price erosion from competition; I don't have any reason to doubt him. JMHO, as always. Charles Tutt (TM)
