I'm not following your logic.... PDAs and phones are limited by their form factor and onboard processing power to fairly low bandwidth applications. Wireless modems for PCs are currently rather slower than I would want for still photos, much less bandwidth hogs like sound and video. Wireless is a huge driver for chip consumption, but I don't see why it's likely to drive big jumps in fiber optic bandwidth utilization.
