TA: What did the economy in was the enormous speculative bubble. For that, we have to blame ourselves. No use pointing fingers at brokerages, analysts, politicians, Fed, newspapers, investment gurus, CNBC or whatever.

But if this recession continues into the next year, Bush will be blamed. Whether it is right or wrong to do so is another question. Then we will have gridlock as the Democrats take the Senate and the House.

Well, maybe that's not a bad thing after all!
