Ravi,
Sorry for the delayed response. I have been having extreme difficulty in logging on SI since Sunday.
The same high expectations of ASND this week were the same expectations of HWP last month, and we all know what happened there!
Anything can happen is my point. If you have a bullish bias towards ASND then I find nothing wrong with buying more calls than puts. I try not to lean one way or the other on earnings straddles because I have witnessed many stocks go down the drain after reporting BETTER than expected earnings.

PS. I picked up some QQAGK to complete my straddle when ASND was sitting pretty around 55 today.
