Jiml and all, Based on anecdotal evidence in our business (electronic component manufacturer) at least the worst is behind us. June/July was the bottom. I'm convinced the recent spate of layoffs from other suppliers (AVX/Kyocera, Hitachi, etc..)were delayed. Most companies took the hit earlier. We certainly did, in fact I now a position open on the west coast (FAE in electronics). Any lurkers send me a PM if your interested. I'm not buying into the doom and gloom anymore. Sure we have many problems like unlit dark fiber and such, but it isn't all bad out there. My tech favorites are SCMR, ONIS and others that have the next generation technology for telecommunications. Anyway, my point is that everyone is focusing on the bad stuff and missing the positives. All my neighbors are still firing up their grills at night!! the end of world is not near (at least in northern indiana). Between now and the end of the year will present some life time opportunities to purchase great companies cheaply. Time for a few days off...take care all.
