The Fed messed up on the max allowable margin rates IMO. They should have used that tool instead of jacking st interest rates so far above the 30 year bond yield. The way they chose to go had too many side effects, namely war on productivity and risks to the banking system; who IMO is about to get stuck with a lot of non performing loans. I also think that credit accelerationa and deceleration is the cause of the business cycle. LOL at the Dog Food Company Idea. Woof Woof.
