(I hope) I don't know about industry, nor whether my own situation is representative of significant numbers of consumers, but I am typing this on a Pentium II 450, bought 3 years ago when it was the fastest thing you could get. Now I can't stand the fact that my browser slows down when I print something. The only reason I haven't bought a new system is that I'm waiting for XP (pre-installed). ~dbf
