Maurice, the bottom line is he created the environment which created a ludicrous amount of credit and has helped to foster a dangerous asset bubble (I would argue that he did not do it by himself however, the GSE's and other lending institutions are at fault too).

He should have stopped this before it got out of control and now it has no choice but to end badly.
