Intel demonstrated a 0.18 micron P4 running (briefly) at 2.5GHz at a recent IDF. When do you expect that to be a product? Heck, it was even air-cooled...

20-30% improvement to go from 0.18 micron to 0.13 micron is not necessarily pitiful, assuming that is all that AMD can do. Intel has the additional benefit of going from Al to Cu, AMD already made that transition. .
