re McMillan's statement: As long as the public refuses to pull the trigger and disgorge its positions, there will be no bottom. Why is this action a necessary precursor to recovery? Is some onerous problem then fixed? What recovery mechanism is now magically activated by such a capitulation? Is this some sort of game of chicken between The Smart Money and J6P (you and me).
