USA-Honduras 2-3

Houston, we have a problem! At least a tie would have been enough, now the road to WC is getting iffier. If US loses in Costa Rica on Wednesday we are in deep doodoo. The injuries in the US team are taking their toll, this has not been the regular US team in the last 2-3 games.

This was an AWESOME game today. I wish the US schedules all their games in Columbus and stays away from the big metropolitan areas where all the immigrants live and make each game feel like their team is playing at home, damn it!. But this game had it all, five goals, two penalties (one miss), scores of missed chances, attacking in both ends, bottles flying, a shaky referee (especially with the two penalty decisions), drama until the very end.

Let's hope Trinidad and Tobago steals a point from the Costa Ricans today. If Mexico loses or ties, they are packing their bags to exile in a Mexico City dungeon tomorrow!

I love this game and I hope the US shall overcome, Donovan the 19 year old today debuting was awesome.

George
