the class action suits are building pressure on the companies,at least they have to pay. You may not see the shareholders get their due,but in a system so blatantly corrupt as Wall Street you have to have pressure coming from somewhere. Plus the NYT and Journal have written that these abusives are of such magnitude that the shareholders maybe getting out-of-court settlements. Read those charges---and you can answer the question,if 5trillion dollars were lost, where did it go--answer vast amounts into a relative few pockets(at the publics expense). Corruption destroys countries. The charge that class-action suits are a waste of time has become ANOTHER cliche that the Big Boyz ram into the publics mind----the big brainwash.(Comparable to the debatable, what is good for big business is good for America--what i think it should say due to events of the recent past "what is good for big business is VERY GOOD for management"--why,because of corruption--you think the management of EXDS is going to suffer with the demise of their company? NOT! They loaded their pockets with massive perks and bonuses--they are set for life---corruption was rampant and the results of corruption are just beginning to be felt) The corruption of past years in IPOs,along with the pro-forma sham, that makes earnings into a joke. And with the help of all the self-serving hypesters,we are now on a walk into the darkness, imo. But hey don't worry be happy,it's Circus Maximus. Complacency, complacency thy name is us. I may be obnoxious, but damned i rather people hate me,if i can at least wake some up. Max |
