Jon and Truman: I think between the three of us we've covered all the bases. It gets very tiring to have to say..."OK, let's give it another 6 months", and it is a bit like being held hostage not being able to sell either the INCE shares we have, or the new ITCO shares we are yet to be given. Part of me simply wants to be made whole at $1.67 so I can run as far away from these two companies as possible, while another part of me really believes that it is very possible for both mgt. teams to achieve contracts (on the phone and PIC respectively), and if they do, $1.67 won't be where the stock price stops.
Truman, you are absolutely right. Contracts in hand is the only thing that matters now. I'm willing to give Metzinger and his new team a chance, but the clock is running; year end '97 should be more than enough time to prove that Sigma 7 was a good aquisition, PIC is viable, and that someone in the world agrees an antennaless phone is worthwhile. After that, I doubt anyone on this board is going to hesistate to sign their name to a SEC complaint against all involved if we are forced to take our losses due to further mis-mgt., and misrepresentations. |
