My brother got laid off in a first round -- 170 people. I expected that he would miss the first round after having been there 15 years ... guess when you get taken over by another company it is more cost-effective to lay off the folks with seniority. Wasn't that long ago he was working 3 weekends out of four in order to keep up with the orders. Ain't this boom / bust - free money economy wunnerful!! <s>
