Ravi,

In closing out a straddle position after earnings I would take into consideration all relevant factors such as any forward statements the company has made, the earnings growth or lack of it for that particular quarter, any change in company's market share, whether there were any charges involved in earnings, and the trend in operating margins, among other factors. BUT, if I am sitting on a profit of 100% or more on the straddle, I will not hesistate to close out my position and take profits. I try not to be too greedy because greediness will get you NOTHING!

GOOD LUCK,
FH
