Hi Joe

Do you know what demographics are and how they relate to advertising sales both from a seller of media ads stand point as well as a buyer of such ads stand point?

Think of the Internet as your favorite TV channel. Your cable box sends these same demographics about you to your TV cable server as demographic information. This is how your cable company determines what their 30-second advertising spot is worth and is what you will pay if you want to buy 30 seconds.

You subscribe through a TV cable company and sign a form. Did you read it? You subscribed to your Internet server and signed a form did you read it?

The bottom line is the subscription base of an advertising media is priced accordingly. A means of measuring whom views what is the only proof a medium has to sell its advertising space.

Why stop there? Ever swipe your ATM card or Visa card pay for something? If so you just put a cookie on a database that tracks your spending habits. Same is said of anyone’s social security number.

If you have ever given your social to any business then you are being tracked. Your tracking information is being sold.

I have a dog who has been pre approved for a 20k credit limit with a certain credit card. I’m not joking about that.
He accepted the credit line but was disallowed because a paw print was not sufficient for a signature. :-)

Just my 2 cents.
