You don't normally engage in the intellectually dishonest practice of intentionally misinterpreting what others say to create a false straw man you can then knock down.

Quite honestly I enjoy Hegelian dialectics as much as the next average joe.

I said nothing about "consensus thinking at any cost." Remember, though, what you said that started this discussion was that "There is no such thing as consensus building." Which you later agreed was incorrect.

Sloppiness on my part. In a society where every individual has the right pursue their own happiness some will find it climbing mountains and others digging holes. I don't think there needs to be any consensus that living on the prairie is the safe balanced alternative.

I won't be a zombie to further a consensus idiocy that is as worn out as Noblesse Oblige.

Please check back what I actually said before criticizing it.

I realize it's something often overlooked by many on this thread, but Canadians, as the kinder, gentler North Americans, should be better at it.

Dual citizenship has certain advantages.
