FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Stratasys Announces Record Second Quarterly Revenues
Estimated Revenues of $5.3 Million, Up 149% from 2nd Qtr 1995
-Genisys Desktop 3D Printer Shipments Add to Revenue Base-

Minneapolis, MN July 3, 1996 - Stratasys, Inc. (NASDAQ NMS: SSYS) today announced record revenues for the quarter ended June 30, 1996, with sales of approximately $5.3 million.

Scott Crump, Chairman and CEO, stated, “Revenues of approximately $5.3 million were the highest in the history of the company, exceeding second quarter 1995 results by 149% and first quarter 1996 results by 92%. We are proud to announce that for the 14th consecutive quarter, Stratasys has exceeded historical comparative revenue numbers. We are on target to again achieve record revenue growth in 1996. The continued success of our core 3D Printer helps to build our confidence that 1996 will be our most successful year to date. It is extremely important to Stratasys that we are able to penetrate the vast and growing mechanical computer-aided design, MCAD, market through our development of a Windows NT software interface for all of our systems. It is equally important that we are now shipping a cost-effective desk-top model that virtually any UNIX-based MCAD user, and very soon any PC-based MCAD user, can effectively operate in any office environment.”
