100cfm--But there have been press releases and news stories on the decision of Vodafone, for example, to push ahead with WCDMA in favor of CDMA2000, even though Vodafone is in a position to profit from handsets using QUALCOMM chips that allow either CDMAOne or GSM phones to work on CDMA2000. It would make sense for Vodafone to want compatibility between its existing CDMA facilities in the U.S. and GSM facilities elsewhere. If Vodafone, the world's largest wireless service provider isn't going to do it, who is?
