Rule by consensus is fascism. I think that's silly. In fact, I know it's silly. There are organizations that run by consensus that are decidedly not facist. However, even it it were true, so what? If there were consensus, and it were facism, everybody would have agreed that they wanted to live by facism. Which, IMO, is fine. If everybody in a given society decides they want to live by facism, or monarchy, or oligarcy, or theocracy, or democracy, or whatever, that's their perfect right.
