D.Long Clarke is right, he is applying coercive pressure to the correct end case. Let stem cell research carry on unabated. There are millions of spontaneous abortions a year. These are not done of active abortion and so those stem cells are not tained at all. Let those cell lines be used, there are plenty of them and no medically induced abortion cells are needed. In fact early spontaneous abortion have earlier stages of all cells and are more useeful that late stage abortions.

Let the anti abortion activists stop the use of medically aborted foetuses for stem cell research, give them that victory.

There is no need to let the mumbo jumbo of fake religion into our lives or even let them have any control at all. Remember the religions are all like the talebans if you let them get away with it they will want more and more until they rule you every waking moment, look at the Afghan experience. Inside every priest is a beast lurking wwho wants to run your life and get your money.
