Not to mention providing a technology that a market has to be developed for. When cell phones first came out, they filled an area that much needed, communication on the go, un-tethered, now they are trying create a need instead of fill one. That same concept of fill a existing need vs. trying to create a need, is most prevalent in the high-tech sector now, and one of the problems that needs to be overcome before a widespread recover can happen. jmho
