TERN is finally vindicated. Too bad their technology is royalty-free, unlike QCOM. To be DOCSIS 2.0 compliant, does a cable modem chipmaker, such as BRCM, TXN and CNXT, need to support both S-CDMA and A-TDMA or just need to pick one flavor? If other chipmakers only support A-TDMA, then TERN is still the only game in town and modems based on TERN's chip will still be more expensive.
