i think the reason the sony's are sold out is that sony has moved to only Intel based systems. You can no longer order the Duron Laptop online and all the new systems are PIV based...I have bought quite a few of the Sony Athlon's (in fact i'm typing on one right now)..but it looks to me like for the short term, Sony has gone intel... aloha, mark
