Max, we agree on many points. There will be some regulations put in place by the government to regulate the buy-strong buy recommendations, IMO. The houses will find a way to circumvent that, and it will be business as usual again sometime down the road.

There are many who got filthy rich, but there are also many VC's who've lost their tails the past year, and I've read that as many as half of the VC's will fold shop in the next year. Many zealous corporate heads also have lost all (I think the PCI Net guy never sold a share), and some like Bernie from MCI even had margin calls that wiped out their fortunes (but he'll be OK).

Most of the winners on Wall Street will walk away wealthy, but I've found in life that often times people that make their money the easy way part with it far faster than those who make it the hard way. We'll see how the cowboys fare down the road.
