Japan's problems are not any worse. They are different. But ultimately, both economies will be going down the same path. We are a nation where people spend every single penny they make, go out and borrow more, and then spend that too. Japan is a nation where everyone saves every penny they make because they don't trust things anymore, so nothing goes back into the economy.
