Hey girl ... the only thing I see wrong with "your good buy" is the point 30 pixel stuff ... I've NOT seen a flat screen with that low a resolution before ... the 15ers that are running on sale a lot now mostly have point28 ... some with point26 ... On a regular ol everyday bigtube CRT I'm not even looking at anything will more than point24 and I realllllly like the Trintrons with point22.... but after all the racoons will be happy that you get a new one .......gggg I've mentioned it here before (on the thread) but with Fry's just now getting set up in Austin ... there are several things that ABSOULTELY MUST be done when shopping there .... 1) take the ad from the paper and check the stock number verrrrrrry closely .... they are notorious for not having the advertised products displayed well ... in fact sometimes they seem to hide them .... with other products at regular price handy and easy to make a mistake ... 2) never buy (if another package is available) anything with a handwritten restock label ... nothing wrong with restocking returns ... all companies HAVE to do THAT .. but Fry's checking out a faulty return does not mean that it goes back ... unfortunately it ends back up on the shelf ... *(sometimes) .. so it is just best to find one without the handwritten label ... 3) it is a good company from which to buy ... I do it all the time ... make sure when you go there to get some goodies from the side of the checkout line to feed the squirrels/raccoons/deer .... hehehehe
