Thank you, Nemer! I needed that kind of information. In fact they advertised this monitor with max resolution of 1024 X 768, then in the store they had scratched that out and wrote 1280 X 1024. I appreciate the pixel info... I am so uninformed that I didn't know that smaller was better. By the way, you are ruthless regarding my perpetual raccoon problem! LOL! Norma
