Dewey ...

good to hear that about the TFT resolution ...

the ones in the store I've seen are above the price range I'm willing to give, so I've not checked out the pixel count validity ...
on the CRTs, though, the pixel count is very important ... or at least it has been to me ...

a CRT that will go no higher than 1024x768 *(the ones I've examined/owned) are normally point26 or greater ...
I've sold/traded/given all of the ones I've had in the past several years (since I went to 17s and 19s) EXCEPT for the one 27in Gateway which has point 28 but will go no larger than 800x600 ...

wish all I owned were Trinitrons ...
or well, if I'm gonna wish ... TFTs ..... gggggg

Thanks for telling us about the small or no difference in the cheapo and the more expensive TFTs ...
