Moonie story. My father was a high-level somebody and 25 years ago I remember he got a lavish invitation from Sun Moon to attend a conference. If my Dad had accepted he would have given Moon credibility in some circles. Instead my Dad turned down the obvious bribe (lavish 1st class everything) and kept his integrity. But many people say yes to the Moonie bribes and that is why you see some sell-out whore journalists with credentials working for the respectable-sounding but really-trashy Washington Times. They are paid a large premium to work there. We can laugh at them but make no mistake, the Moonies are a very sneaky and dangerous foreign organization allied with Korean intelligence and military dictatorship toppers and their goal is to subvert American policy and democracy, not contribute to it. It is a sad thing that the GOP is in bed with them. Sad for the GOP's credibility. Didn't they used to be a classy party? But now they ally themselves with brain-washers, white collar criminals and pigs at the troughs. The GOP needs a big change and cleansing from within. It needs new leadership. And by the way what's Bush talking about defending us from North Korea with Star Wars? That does sound like something Sun Moon would obsess about though it's a totally ridiculous idea.
