Fresh like daily french bread from briefing.com dated Aug 31, 2001: 14:04 ET QUALCOMM (QCOM) 59.36 -0.23 (-0.4%): Sources at Salomon Smith Barney telling us that firm has received a mid-month update on the progress of SK Telecom's 1XRTT subscriber growth; as of Aug. 23, SK Telecom added an additional 270,000 1XRTT subscribers vs 240k adds in July and 170k in June; views strong 1XRTT growth trends as a positive for QCOM.
