Zionism is not and has never been racist. On the contrary, Palestinianism is racist, and that is its heritage from its founder, Haj Amin al-Husseini. He embraced Hitler and imported European Nazi anti-Semitism into the Middle East, and poisoned and radicalized relations between the Palestinian Arabs and the Yishuv, inciting the first pogroms of the 20's and 30's. He spent years of WWII in Berlin, listening to Hitler's stories about how he would solve Haj Amin's Jewish problem in Palestine as soon as he had taken care of it in Europe.
The Palestinians, by hijacking the Durban conference and turning into an anti-Semitic hatefest, have embarrassed the UN and done Israel almost a favor, by showing their true colors. The Arab countries may enjoy being drunk on their own rhetoric, but the rest of the world is embarrassed. |
