I betcha (I don't think CPQ has laid off the 8500 they said they were going to do a year ago) when all things are revealed in the fullness of time, Rosen sold out rather than having to fire anybody. I think they did cut those 8500 jobs. Now, if that article is right, 20,000 more. Guess the SF Bay Area housing market won't be the only one going down. Houston (and Austin) we have meltdown.
