I'm was referring to the consumer not the enterprise pc segments. This is what IBM did. By the way, I realize that IBM still sells to the consumer through their web site. I suspect HWP will do the same. However, I don't think IBM comes close to achieving the level of sales through the web as Dell does. In any event, this is just an educated guess on my part.
