To those of us who are starved for info, here is some from a poster on CIS:

All, Friday, 9AM . . . .

Well, only got to 111 degrees in Phoenix yesterday. Cool spell, I'd say.
Big turnout of the "IPM Faithful" [and not so faithful<g>] lavishing money
like water across the Phoenix landscape. Those of us who are staying at
the
Ritz Carleton have discovered that this is _not exactly "MacDonald's
Country". Though, last night, I must admit that one small group of 13
managed to get together to pool resources and cut their feed bill. Ritz
accommodated them by only charging $1100 for their modest dinner. Seems
fair
to me.

We have the usual number of confident-faced IPMers, posturing and talking
both authoritatively and knowledgably about what was going to happen at the

AGM. We also have the usual number of worry-worts, uneasily muttering
their
"what-ifs" to any that would listen. It's great to listen when one
realizes that there is no input into the equation, yet. In short, it
doesn't
seem to me like anybody really knows anything yet, although . . . . . the
juicy Thurs/1:00AM "direct quote" rumor [source-Doyle?] indicated that to
"stabilize the market" that IPMCF was going to be "halted" for today's
trading. Hmmmmm. This could be taken several ways. Naturally, I had to
run
out to the street corner this morning to pick up a couple of "K" shares
just
to see if the rumor was correct. And, as usual, I paid my usual
retail+10% to those wonderful market makers. Now, @9AM, it's dropped to
8 1/8. Oh, well. . . O.K., what's the _next rumor?

There was an interesting and _almost completely successful MG Gold tour
yesterday for _those faithful. For once, people actually got a virtually
hands-on experience in the junior golds ring and saw things happening, even

to the extent of watching the gold being poured. Sometimes, there's
nothing
like reality to clear the air. It looks like an interesting strategy for
"boot-strapping" the mining venture into production without significant
dilution of financial resources - I like that. I understand that the trip
was considered quite successful by many of that gallant bus group. I use
the word "gallant" advisedly, as the afternoon return trip bus broke down
about 60 miles outside of Phoenix. [Remember, 111 degrees in the _shade!]
About 11:30PM the group stumbled into the Ritz, looking very much like
refugees from Rommel's Afrika Korps. It wasn't exactly the highlight of
the
trip for them and the thirsty souls literally cleaned out the hotel bar of
_all bottles of beer [at $4.50 a pop, domestic]. Well, dammit, gold mining

_shouldn't be easy, no?

Today, another group will be "Runyonized" and join hands around the MAXM
spread to see how _that's going. Since I already had lurched around the
Black Rock spread the day before, in my noble steed
"Buick-with-no-ground-clearance" I decided to pass on this opportunity.

I will say this, for those missing this event. Here, within the space of a

few miles and a few days, happy viewers are afforded the opportunity to
take
a look at three different approaches to the junior golds task of "skinning
the cat". That, plus attaching the faces to the posts makes for a rather
rewarding jolly little affair. I would say that this trip serves as a
rather
excellant business seminar, sort of "Junior Gold-101", as it were. Yup, if
I
were your CPA I'd let you write it off, for sure.

Both Jay Taylor and Ron Struthers are here chatting it up. And, _most
amazingly, [considering some of the acrimonious posts going around]
everybody
is actually being quite civil and pleasant to each other. Wonders will
never
cease.

It is [at this moment, 9:00AM Phoenix time] an intense time for all, not
knowing just what's coming down. I will say this, though, IPM has spent
effort and money like water on this event. One would think [and hope!]
that
there was a positive purpose in this grand affair. If there isn't great
news
then this is one hell of a "Last Hurrah!" . . . . .

Will try to get back to you this afternoon.
